At Nooz, we offer lenses with a blue light filter specially designed for people who spend extended time in front of screens (computer, tablet, smartphone...).
👀 What is Blue Light protection for?
Artificial blue light from screens can cause:
Eye fatigue
Headaches
Sleep disturbances
Our Blue Light lenses filter part of this harmful light to ensure greater daily eye comfort.
✅ When to go for Blue Light lenses?
We recommend Blue Light lenses if you spend 6 hours or more per day in front of a screen.
They are particularly useful for:
Remote or office work
Students
Any prolonged screen activity
At Nooz, we offer two types of lenses for presbyopia: multifocal lenses (also called degressive) and bifocal lenses. While they serve similar needs, they work quite differently.
🔄 Multifocal lenses (degressive)
These lenses offer a gradual reduction in correction from the bottom to the top:
🔽 Bottom part: strong correction for reading
🔼 Top part: lighter correction for intermediate vision (up to around 3 meters)
✅ Perfect for:
Reading
Computer work
Talking and interacting with others
⚠️ Limitation: not suitable for long-distance vision
👓 Bifocal lenses
These lenses have two clearly separated zones:
👁️🗨️ Bottom zone: with correction for close-up reading
🆓 Top zone: without correction – for seeing far away
✅ Perfect for:
Outdoor activities or walking
Switching quickly between reading and distance viewing
At Nooz, we offer two types of sunglasses for people with presbyopia: unifocal reading sunglasses and bifocal sunglasses. Here's how they differ:
🌞 Reading sunglasses (unifocal)
These sunglasses have tinted lenses with one single correction across the entire surface.
Ideal for:
Reading outdoors (books, newspapers, phones…)
Enjoying UV protection while having near-vision correction
🔎 Limitation: they don’t allow clear distance vision, since the correction is uniform.
👓 Bifocal sunglasses
These glasses feature lenses divided into two zones:
The lower part has correction for near reading.
The upper part has no correction, allowing clear distance vision.
This offers a smooth transition between near and far vision without needing to remove the glasses.
📌 Perfect for: walking, being on the terrace, gardening — anytime you need to read while keeping a clear view of your surroundings.

Reading glasses and multi-distance glasses are both designed to improve near vision, but they work differently:
Reading glasses
have a single diopter throughout the entire lens. They are ideal for reading but do not provide clear vision beyond reading distance.
Multi-distance glasses feature a degressive diopter, meaning the correction gradually decreases from bottom to top:
The lower part of the lens is optimized for reading.
The rest of the lens is designed for activities such as computer work, social interactions, and tasks requiring clear vision up to 3 meters.
🚨 Warning: These glasses are not meant for long-distance vision, as the upper part of the lens still has a correction. They do not replace regular distance glasses.
If you need a versatile solution for close-up and intermediate activities, multi-distance glasses are a great choice!
